Great Lakes Classic Women’s Senior Golf Tournament
Women's Senior Golf Tour, the official senior tour of the LPGA.

The second year of the Great Lakes Classic showed excellent competition, including a two-hole playoff between LPGA Hall of Famer Patty Sheehan and three-time U.S. Women's Open champion Hollis Stacy.  Susie Berning started the charge on Friday, shooting a six-under 66 to tie with Sheehan.  But Sheehan, Lori West, Jane Crafter and Hollis Stacy took the lead on Saturday, all even at six-under, with three tied at five-under.  On Sunday, Stacy and Sheehan finished regulation play tied at nine-under-par, forcing a playoff.  After a two-hole playoff, Stacy birdied the last hole to take home the $75,000 prize, Sheehan $41,000, Barb Moxness and Marilyn Lovander $23,500, and West rounded out the top five with $15,000.
